Kristine Gatdula RDH, BS
Kristine has been a Registered Dental Hygienist for over 15 years and is dedicated to wellness, education and contributing to the health of her community and beyond. As a pioneer in the area of Medical Dental Integration and an advocate of collaborative care, she continued her education to specialize in Myofunctional Therapy after observing an overwhelming need in her patients while integrated at a Primary Care Medical Practice.
Kristine was born in Honolulu, Hawaii where her parents migrated from the Philippines. She moved to Aspen, CO in 2014 to follow one of her passions and embraced being a ski bum for a winter – and the story goes.
After graduating from Dental Hygiene school in 2007 she became an avid hot yoga practitioner, a National Asana Competitor and a traveling teacher for several years on 4 different continents. The profound health benefits she experienced from her yoga practice and an awakening medical event have shaped her commitment to preventative health practices.
Her diverse experiences in and out of the dental operatory continue to inspire her personal and professional growth.
Her experience as a clinician spans from private practice, public health, school-based settings and primary care integration. Kristine has provided care for infants to seniors, from the healthy to medically-compromised in both traditional and unconventional practice settings. All have shaped her individualized approach to patient-centered care. She enjoys working with patients as they are and building relationships to inspire healthy oral habits for a lifetime. Kristine finds joy in seeing patients create their own awareness around their habits and observing how they progress through treatment to improve their health and ultimately, life.
